So there’s this video that you watched on youtube and wish to have on your phone or PC, or you have a phone that cannot open Youtube videos? Too bad! Youtube does not allow downloading of it’s videos. Stingy Youtube!
But anyway, trust people, there’s no problem without a solution; only the knowledge of the solution makes it appear that way.
So this short tutorial provides exactly that! A solution to the problem!
On PC, you can easily download Youtube videos by installing and integrating Internet Download Manager (IDM) to your browser. Once you have done that, you will be provided with a download video button anytime you view a Youtube video.
To download Youtube videos to your mobile phone, open to view video
link. Don’t click on watch video, just open the video link, then copy
the page url.
The page url will resemble something like this:
m.youtube.com/watch?v=blablabla
Now, edit this link by replacing ‘m.’ with ‘ss’
Hence the above example, when edited will now be:
ssyoutube.com/watch?v=blablabla
Now, paste the new link in your url field and hit enter. You will be redirected to a completely different website, savefrom.net.
Just click on Download, and save the file in MP4 or 3GP, choosing the
quality that suits you(click ‘more’ to show more formats).
Alternatively, after copying the youtube video page url, do not modify the link in any way. Just go to savefrom.net and paste the link as it is on the url field and click the Download button. Then choose format and save.
If this method doesn’t work for you, here is another method you can employ:
Search for the desired video on Youtube, then copy the whole texts of
the video link. Not the video link, only the texts of the link. Then go
to any of the websites below and paste the text in the search box:
Vuclip
Tubidy
Hit search, Download and Enjoy!
